Wonky ! イギリス英語～スラング編

Alright mate !

Do you use slang words sometimes ? well, here is another one of the most common british slang words used among British people in everyday conversation : )

The one that I'm gonna introduce this time is quite useful and versatile. This can be used in many different situations and for different things :)

” wonky ” – something is unstable, not straight

～　For example　～

• The picture on the wall looks a bit wonky. Do you mind me fixing it?

• Your tie is a bit wonky, mate.

Again, different places with different people have their own slangs in the world. so please be aware that using too many specific slang words might create some sort of awkward atmosphere !! hahaha
