Hiya !
Everyone has moments when you say or do something by accident or without thinking. In such cases, sometimes it works well but sometimes it goes bad.
When it comes to that kind of situation,,
” on the spur of the moment ” – 咄嗟に・出来心で
～ For example ～
A : Well, I'll buy this car!
B : Wow wow wow, please don't decide such a thing on the spur of the moment, mate! Just sleep on it at least.
Sorry, I said that on the spur of the moment. Please forget about it.
When you've just said something that you didn't mean or without thinking, this is absolutely the one that helps you :D
Or if you can't come up with any other excuses, why not try to get away with an awkward moment by using this phrase haha
